About Marty Mueller: originally from Washington DC, Marty is the former Peace Corps Director in Ivory Coast and Haiti, a resident of Miami Beach since 2005, and the co-owner of Art Deco Walks. Marty is a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and volunteers his time as a tour guide at the Miami Design Preservation League and the New World Symphony. Marty also serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit group Health Through Walls, which provides medical services to men, women, and child prisoners in Haiti.  He leads a variety of architectural walking and bicycle tours throughout the art deco historic district. Marty speaks fluent French, spends part of each summer in France, and leads art deco tours in French. He is a 2007 graduate of the Design Preservation League's Tour Academy, a member of the Professional Tour Guide Association of Florida (PTGAF) and the Florida Association of Meeting and Events Professionals (FAME).

About Paula Fletcher: originally from the UK, Paula is a former senior business executive with national UK awards for public speaking who has worked in Australia, Sri Lanka and the USA. For the last 14 years she has divided her time between the UK where she gives walking tours of historic gardens, towns and villages for visiting Americans from her company www.warwickwalks.com and the USA where she is co-owner of Art Deco Walks giving walking tours within the South Beach Art Deco Historic District of Miami Beach, Florida. Paula additionally donates time as a volunteer guide for the 'Miami Design Preservation League;' the newly re-designed 'Miami Beach Botanical Garden' and 'History Miami' leading tours through the tropical cocktail of architectural styles within the Downtown Miami business district. Paula's lifetime love of architecture and art combined with a delight in storytelling give her audiences a strong sense of the exciting history, exuberance of style and the glamour associated with the art deco period in Miami and Miami Beach. She is a 2009 graduate of the Miami Design Preservation League Tour Guide Academy and a member of the Professional Tour Guide Association of Florida (PTGAF).
